Invesco India Overnight Fund

Investment Objective and Approach

The Scheme seeks to generate income commensurate with low risk and high liquidity by investing in overnight securities having residual maturity of 1 business day. Overnight funds invest in bonds having maturity of just one day (hence the name 'Overnight').

They are suitable for institutional investors looking to park their surplus money for a few days or weeks to earn a bit extra on the sum which would otherwise lie idle in a bank account. The risk of incurring a loss in these funds is negligible but they do not guarantee returns or safety of capital.

The fund follows a conservative investment approach focusing on:

- Investment in overnight securities with 1-day maturity

- Maintaining high liquidity for quick redemptions

- Providing stable returns with minimal credit and interest rate risk

- Suitable for parking short-term surplus funds

They are suitable to earn a little extra on idle money lying in the bank. You may invest in these funds the money that you have set aside to meet any emergency needs or any surplus money that you don't need for a few days up to a year. The risk of incurring a loss in these funds is negligible but they do not guarantee returns or safety of capital.
