Investment Objective and Approach

The fund aims to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of equity and equity related securities, predominantly in large and mid-cap stocks from various sectors. The scheme will allocate 80% to 100% of its assets to large cap companies, and may also allocate up to 20% of its portfolio to equity and equity related securities of mid or small cap companies, foreign companies, debt securities and money market instruments.

The scheme follows a moat investment strategy, whereby it will identify and focus on companies that have a track record of good performance, a distinct competitive advantage over their peers and the capability to safeguard and build on this competitive edge. Previously as Head of Investments (Canara Robeco AMC), he was responsible for all Equity Business wherein he oversaw equity assets of Rs. 400 Bn and advised Robeco funds on their India exposure of Rs. 350 Bn. Nimesh Chandan is the newly appointed Chief Investment Officer at Bajaj Finserv's upcoming mutual fund. He has over a decade of experience, formerly serving as Head of Investments at Canara Robeco Mutual Fund. Chandan, who has also worked with Birla Sunlife and SBI Asset Management, is a noted expert in behavioral finance.

Siddharth Chaudhary - Has 17 years of experience in fixed-income markets, of which 12 years are in the Asset Management Industry and 4 years at the interest rate desk in the bank treasury. Mr. Chaudhary is a B.Com (H) and PGDM (Securities Markets). Prior to joining Bajaj Finserv Mutual Fund, he has worked with Sundaram Mutual Fund and Indian Bank.

Sorbh Gupta - Senior Fund Manager, Equity at Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited. Mr. Gupta is a B.Com, CA and CFA. Prior to joining Bajaj Finserv Mutual Fund, he was associated with Quantum Mutual Fund, Siddhesh Capital Markets Pvt. Ltd. & Pranav Securities Pvt. Ltd. He has over 11 years of overall experience in the equity research.
