The scheme aims to invest in stocks across those sectors and industries where India's strong inherent potential is increasingly becoming visible to the world, which are driving our economy and whose fundamental future growth is influenced by ongoing economic reforms, FDI inflows and infrastructural changes. The primary investment objective of Nippon India Multi Cap Fund Direct Growth is to achieve capital appreciation and offer long-term growth opportunities to investors. This is pursued by building a well-balanced portfolio of equity and equity-related securities.

Additionally, the secondary objective of the fund is to generate consistent returns by allocating a portion of its assets to debt and money market securities. This fund is mandated to invest at least 25 per cent of its money each in stocks of large, medium and small-sized companies.

The fund follows a GARP (Growth at a reasonable price) investment strategy, where their fund's portfolio is further built on a GARP (Growth at a reasonable price) strategy.
