Union Value Fund: Value Investing Excellence with Strong Returns

Union Value Fund is an equity mutual fund scheme by Union Mutual Fund designed for long-term capital appreciation through value investing in undervalued equity securities.

Union Value Fund: Investment Objective and Approach

The scheme seeks to generate long term capital appreciation by investing substantially in a portfolio of equity and equity related securities of companies which are undervalued (or are trading below their intrinsic value). This fund follows a value/contrarian style of investing, which endeavours to find stocks that are priced significantly lower than what the fund management team believes is their true worth.

The fund employs a value investing strategy, focusing on companies with strong fundamentals and growth potential that are trading at a discount to their intrinsic value. The fund managers conduct in-depth research to select stocks that offer growth prospects and are available at attractive valuations.

The fund primarily invests in equity securities with a focus on identifying undervalued opportunities across market capitalizations. This approach aims to generate superior risk-adjusted returns over the long term by capitalizing on market inefficiencies and temporary price dislocations.

Warning: Do not invest in this, or any other value-oriented fund, if you need to redeem your investment in less than five years.
