- Global Investment Solutions: This segment offers comprehensive investment opportunities and resources for clients to build private equity portfolios. It includes fund of funds, secondary purchases or financings of existing portfolios, and managed co-investment programs.
Carlyle's investment approach varies by strategy. For venture investments, it typically targets companies with initial investments between $2.24 million and $50 million. For buyouts, investments range from $50 million to $2 billion, applied to companies with an enterprise value between $31.57 million and $1 billion and sales figures from $50 million to $300 million. The firm seeks companies with a market capitalization exceeding $50 million and EBITDA between $5 million and $25 million.
In the real estate sector, Carlyle invests across various regions, with a particular focus on France and Central Europe, the United States, China, and Latin America.
