The Company was originally incorporated as 'Shivnath Farms Private Limited', which was converted into a Public Limited Company on September 13, 2000, and subsequently renamed to Nath Bio-Genes (India) Limited on March 05, 2001. The Company stands as a distinguished leader in the Indian seed industry, leveraging over two decades of expertise in producing and distributing high-quality seeds to Indian farmers.

Business Operations and Product Portfolio

The Company's product categories include oilseeds and fiber, field crops, vegetables, and plant nutrition.

The Company operates seed processing facilities located in Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh. It also utilizes custom processing arrangements in Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The major processing plants are situated at Aurangabad (MS) and Munipalli, Nizamabad (TG). Seeds are produced in states like Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu, covering diverse agroclimatic zones of the country. The company ensures that seeds of the highest quality reach its processing centers by implementing rigorous field standards and quality control checks throughout the seed production process.

The Company's robust research and development initiatives have resulted in numerous acclaimed cotton seed varieties, noted for their resilience against viruses and weather fluctuations, as evidenced by their outstanding performance in ICAR trials. The company has promising cotton products in the pipeline, some of which are performing exceptionally well in ICAR trials. Nath Bio-Genes has introduced two new cotton hybrid seed products to the Indian market: Sanket and Daksh. These promising new varieties were developed over 5 years of extensive research and biotech interventions and have been evaluated through field trials across different geographic and climatic conditions in Central and South India.

The Company's commitment to excellence is demonstrated through its comprehensive extension programs designed to empower farmers. These initiatives include product awareness campaigns, crop demonstrations, agronomic input guidance, fertigation practices, and post-harvest management training. Nath Bio-Genes employs over 500 field representatives, known as Nath Farm Advisors. Our field force engages and educates approximately 2 Lakh farmers across India at any given time. They provide handholding support to farmers, from choosing correct agricultural cultivation practices (seed selection, fertigation, and irrigation) and timely interventions in harvest to immediate after-sales service.
